| Modibond Acrylic Thickner is an anionic based acrylic copolymer dispersion of cross linking in nature specially developed as a thickening medium for water based dispersion used for flocking, printing and non-woven binder. The product on addition of a base (Alkali) sodium hydroxide, ammonium hydroxide, sodium bicarbonate & ethanolamine swells etc. become highly viscous. Once neutralized it can bot be reverted to its original emulsion by reducing the pH as it would precipitate the polymer. |
