| Modibond - SPT is a Styrene Acrylate Copolymer Dispersion, which can be used as a binder for manufacture of Emulsion paint. It forms a clear and hard film. The film forming temperature can be further reduced by solvents such as Ethyl-Glycol, Butyl-Glycol and their acetates. In addition solvents such as turpentine oil, Ethyl Alcohol, Ethylene-Glycol, White spirit, Toluene, Xylene, pine oil and chlorinated hydro -carbons such as Methylene chloride and trichloroethylene can be easily incorporated in the emulsion. This must be done slowly while stirring. It is advantageous to dilute water-soluble solvents with water before incorporation. |
